Madness?! No! THIS. IS. MEGUCAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

2 weeks or half a month to go!

Are the Megucas done yet? -NO
Will they be? - YES!

The pressure is SO on by now! Not a day goes by without it containing some sort of sewing, practice of act or crafting of amor.
I finished my skirt, but when I had to remove my helping lines (the ones draw with an aqua trick marker that's SUPPOSED to dissolve in water) it fucked up and I got blue smudge all over my precious skirt.

 My brain died.

Then I got angry and threw it all in my bathtub with a "RRRRROAR!" and put the now soaked skirt up in the middle of my (small) living room to dry. When wet it's impossible to see it the stains are still on, so when I woke up this morning, the first thing I did was checking it. FORTUNATELY almost all the smudge went off!
No one can imagine how happy a Maru I am!

So now the skirt is as good as done and a great burden has been lifted off my shoulders. After all I've been working on it for half a year. (Not at lightning speed, but you know. You sort of get attached to things after that long.)

We sent everything such as pictures, performance plan and soundtrack to the ECG administration yesterday, so now there's no turning back. Needless to say we never intended that, MAGICAL GIRLS NEVER GIVE UP! (they just die.)


I finished the written part of my exam, now all there's left is the textile project, but It's so darn hard to focus on that right now. All I want to do is make this costume even more awesome than it already is.
Yes, I said it. MY COSTUME IS BLEEDING AWESOME AND IT ISN'T EVEN DONE!

Suddenly there's less than a month to the ECG Finals and I find myself in the middle of a war!
A war between me, myself and I. You see, I wanted to sit down once and for all and get that stupid skirt of Esthers DONE!
Along came Mona with her "Hey let's watch Game Of Thrones!" and as you might guess ALL my attentions was on the screen instead of on the wretched skirt. Sigh. But that not all. Ooh no sir. Not only can I feel the pressure from the Finals closing but now my exam period has begun too. So one Maru wants to work on her cosplay, another wants to watch GoT (She's a VERY convincing one) and the last wants to do both but knows that she needs to focus on her bloody project. (She's kinda vague in her expressions so she's often ignored. . .)

Today I watched the last episode of Season 1 and the'res no way in HELLO I'm gonna get my hands on Season 2 before AFTER my exam. No more mister nice guy errrr. . . nun! No more!
But that's not important to you right now.

Since our last update things have happened. I'm done sewing and embroidering the edge of the damn skirt and I've started to pain it. With a little help from the Megucas and the Mona-chan desuuuuh

I'm about half way the the PAINting so I'm content. I have to be. Next week I'm gonna pick up the most perfect boots for this costume and they need to get some paint too. Weeeeh. . . Sigh.
Really I'm enjoying myself when working on this. Sometimes. I like the breaks between. . .  Enough!
